Quick Reminder on Privacy Guard!
Just a quick reminder about privacy guard on your email domains...
Just recently, we worked on an issue with Spamhaus for a client, we got a reply with this (as part of their response)...
In terms of domain reputation, why is the commercial domain anonymized? Why wouldn't a legitimate brand be proud of its identity?
In other words, why would a legitimate sender choose to mask their real identity?
When a delisting request makes it to an actual person, they look at a number of things which may or may not include whether the domain ownership is being hidden. If so, then it's a flag to the ISP that maybe they need to dig deeper and see "who" this sender is and if their mail really is legitimate and requested.
So, it's a good idea to double check your domains (or have your webmaster do it) associated with your emails (sending domain, from domain, etc.). Make sure that you are not using some sort of privacy service to mask the identity.
